Ignorance is Bliss

How come all religious places are almost all the same no matter how different each claim to be?
There is one or few religious people who will lead in prayer,dua or pooja and a sermon, khutba or pooja paat and the rest will follow blindly with no question in mind. The Blind Faith that keeps us all sane. Who says religion should be like this? Who says that this is the only way to connect to God? Why is the mess in the church,mosque or temple the way? Are "the we going all the way to the house of God" literally bringing us closer to God.. or are we Ourselves bringing ourselves closer to God in mind and we just need the physical action of us going there to feel we've reached?

Some claim that religion is knowledge. It is knowing... but i beg to differ. I feel it is just NOT KNOWING... Just the rule of thumb of "not questioning" because how will you know if you don't question, right?

Religion is just the bliss of ignorance given to us on a silver platter. Religion is just for peace of mind so we dont try to find our purpose and answers to what the hell is going on. How nice for us, we have an out as seriously you can go mad trying to understand why. Just giving the whole responsibilty of why we are here to God and how we ensure our wellbeing by worshipping him as He is the holder of our fate is very clever indeed as there is no bigger form of flattery then worship, right? 

But do we really need to be convincing God here or do we really need to be convincing ourselves that we are the owner of better fates?

We pray day by day convincing our poor souls that everything will be great, convincing our poor hearts that there is nothing to worry about... convincing our poor weak minds that life is controlled by the one we worship...

HOW SAD!

We cant even accept that we are the ones calling the shots... BUT subconciously... How SICK!
